BIBLE-BELIEVING STUDIES AND SERMONS

At every service — Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night, regardless of the holiday — the King James Bible will be opened and proclaimed. An “altar call” or “invitation” is given at the conclusion of each message with a call for a decision from those who hear the message.

The Bible is preached and taught from the standpoint that the King James Bible is God’s infallible, inerrant, and inspired word. Absolutely no references are ever made to Hebrew or Greek in order to “improve” or to properly understand the English of the King James Version. Additionally, we hold Bible Institute classes from 4 to 7 PM on Saturday evenings, consisting of four courses of 45 minutes each, for a four year study program.

SOUL-WINNING VISITATION PROGRAMS

Our organized program meets Saturday morning from 10 AM until noon. Additionally, our people are out knocking on doors in outreach on various days of the week. It would be our privilege and joy to call on your loved one in the Jacksonville, FL area. Just let us know.

WORLD-WIDE MISSIONS

For years our church has given 15 percent of our regular offerings toward missions support!

INTERNET MINISTRY

Through our personal website here at www.brothermike.com, our activities on Facebook, and other forums, and Bible studies and sermons on YouTube, souls have been saved and Christians have been encouraged to be Bible-believing fundamentalists. Christians have traveled hundreds of miles to visit our services as a result of our Internet ministry. A marriage was saved in a neighboring state, believers have been directed to good churches in their new places of residence, and pastors has been called from across the country to assume the oversight of a church through this ministry.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Sticking almost 100% with tried and true hymns, Glenwood Baptist Church avoids the use of rock (all varieties), rap, folk, bluegrass, country-western, and Southern Gospel music, even if the songs have good words.
