THE GLORY-FILLED HOUSE
By Michael D. O’Neal……Pastor, Gospel Light Baptist Church……Albany, Georgia

Scripture Reading: 1 Kings 8:1-11

Text: 1 Kings 8:11

1 Kings 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Introduction: Some churches are filled with the glory of the Lord. There are many churches which ONCE had the glory of God upon them, but the glory has gone. The word, “Ichabod,” means, “the glory has departed.” “Ichabod” churches are marked by:
1. Criticism
2. Carnality
3. Conceit
4. Confusion
5. Conspiracy
6. Contention
7. Counterfeits
I want our church to be one that is filled with the glory of the Lord. I hunger for the power of God in my life. I hunger for the power of God in our church. I hunger for the power of God in your families.

I believe the glory-filled house is one in which
